About the Event

The City of Mandurah is proud to officially launch our first-ever Environment Strategy.

We know the environment matters in Mandurah. For many, it’s what makes living here so special…what makes us love living here. The Environment Strategy 2023-2033 brings together all of the City's environmental work and provides clear direction and priorities for the future as we protect and nurture our unique environment to continue to share it with generations to come.

To develop this Strategy, we worked closely with staff, Elected Members, environmental groups, Bindjareb Elders and the broader community to shape a shared vision that reflects our connection to and hope for our natural environment. Please join us as we now celebrate and acknowledge the effort of everyone involved in the development of this important document.

At this event, you'll have the chance to hear about the Environment Strategy directly from council representatives. You'll also learn more about the interconnection between the environment and human health and wellbeing from special guest speaker Phoebe George, from the Telethon Kids Institute.

Please RSVP by Wednesday, 12 June.
